Who hurt you, Dr. Murphy? As a patient at SMH Venice, your bedside manner was condescending, cold & uncaring. You spent more time on your history lesson of Lyme Disease (which I didn’t have) than actually discussing my case. You never physically examined me but my progress notes would say otherwise. Although you fit the profile of a hospitalist whose sole purpose is to churn and burn patients out of the hospital for better numbers, you don’t fit the bill for a PCP with the patient’s best interest at heart.
