AC System stopped cooling. Call Arctic Heating & Air Conditioning in Salisbury, MD. Service tech arrived and said the system need a 45/5 dual start capacitor and 3 lbs of freon. Charged $175 to replace the capacitor, the same capacitor can be purchased at Home Depot for less than $15 retail. Took literally 2 minutes to troubleshoot capacitor and to change it out. Charged $497 to install 3 lbs of freon (R-22 freon can be purchased retail for $15-$20/lb) and was charge a $99 service fee. Was at my property less than an hour. $... read more
