Dr Markowicz is amazing. I’m walking with a cane 4 days after total hip replacement. I’m going up and down stairs with no pain. Our initial consult was impressive as well, he described everything and left no questions unanswered. He called the night before the procedure to answer any questions and all went 100% smoothly. Highly recommended.
Dr. Markowicz was communicative, clear, kind, and understanding from the moment he stepped into the office, to the day of surgery, and during all follow-ups. He even chose to perform the hip surgery using the more time-intensive posterior access method, which meant he "lost" money as he could have completed two anterior procedures in the same timeframe. If you’d like to get your surgeon on the phone, post-op, don’t use Dr. Markowitz. We’ve been waiting over a week for a returned call (which he promised) after he ordered an MRI on my mom, for pain post-hip replacement. We’ve called several times to no avail. This is unfortunately not the first time he hasn’t delivered.
Dr. Markowicz covered for Dr. Grose when I needed hip surgery due to an infection. He explained everything fully & had no problems
Dr Markowicz in my opinion is an excellent reconstructive surgeon. He replaced my knee that was horrendous due to a recalled part. Only have good things to say about him. Bedside manner excellent. Will sit with you and explain till you understand. Thank You Sir
