This Doctor literally saved my life. I had very large fibroids and couldn't function. I wasted so much time canceling plans because of pain and wasting my life in bed during my 30 day menstrual cycles. I was constantly embarrassed and emotionally scared due to "mishaps". Excellent doctor. I had not been to an OBGYN in 10 years and they were women. The exams always hurt and they made me feel awful about myself. Dr. Lax knew I was nervous and his gentle voice calmed me. He was kind and compassionate. The exam did not hurt and I am thankful to him for making me feel completely at ease.
