Dan Keenan knew from an early age that he wanted to follow in his father?s footsteps and become a funeral director. After graduating from Christian Brothers Academy and the New York School of Embalming and Restorative Arts, Dan looked forward to the day when he could take over the business that his father had started in 1923. This was my first time ever taking on the arrangements of a loved one. I was referred to Daniel Keenan Funeral Home by Lori of the Albany Diocese. My cousin Harry Donnelly was a disabled man, and a warden of the court. I was not in the position to be put into a high cost funeral. I worked with Emily Sumner who was our funeral director. Daniel Keenan’s staff were wonderful to work with during a stressful, emotional time. They walked us through each detail and did exactly as we had hoped. We would use them again (hopefully not for a long time) and would highly recommend to others.
My son passed away November 17th they were extremely helpful with the cremation and the payment. I truly appreciate all the help. Thank you for also being able to give me back my son when promised. God bless
