Dr. Hoopes is extremely knowledgeable and very detailed. Received great care and attention as a patient.
I went in with what I thought was worse than plantar fasciitis (I dealt with it for years but pushes through the pain) and I was expecting a suggestion for a simple surgery. Instead, he recommended some non invasive treatments to do and I’m only 48 hours into it and I’m seeing improvement already. He’s worth the wait if it takes an hour to get into him.
If you value your time, I would strongly suggest against booking an appointment with Dr. Hoopes. I purposely scheduled my appointment at 7:40 am, so I would get back to work on time, but I sat waiting to be seen for over an hour (8:45am to be precise). I ended up cancelling and will now schedule with a more serious doctor/office.
He’s a good doctor, but that is cancelled out by how long the waits are at his office. I showed up for an appointment at 7:45 am, and they were already an hour behind, which I don’t know how that is even possible. When you’re later in the day, the wait is always well over an hour.
Dr Hoopes came with great references, but I unfortunately had a less than ideal experience. I came prepared to have a thorough conversation with him during a follow up, and instead I was met by the PA who had to go back and forth, playing telephone between Dr Hoopes and myself.
