Did not seemed concerned with treating my daughter's pain at all. Had horrible bedside manner. Did not offer to treat her with more than physical therapy and giving her OTC pain meds to take- even after seeing her MRI results. My daughter now has major trust issues with any doctors after dealing with him and also has permanent nerve damage causing numbness down her leg. After multiple visits to his office, we found an adult spine doc who agreed to see her and actually treat the issue and provide appropriate medication.
Was not pleased with him when we went for my 12 year old sons broken collar bone on Monday morning. (The break happened Saturday at 530) The front office was great...the nurse was great. But the doc came in for about 2 mins. Didn't offer much help and said the only thing to treat pain was OTC pain meds for a broken collarbone. No surgery needed it will have to heal itself. So I tried OTC meds and it was absolutely terrible he was bawling and nearly passed out. . I called to see if i could get anything stronger and was denied... read more
Dr. Hoernschemeyer’s team are always so helpful and friendly. They always take the time to explain my child’s progress. I completely trust him and his team with my child’s health care needs and surgery.
"Dr. Dan" as he likes to be called, did an amazing job helping 2 of my children. They both recovered wonderfully, and went on to have great experiences in high school sports.
