I saw Dr. Blatz several years ago a few times and he insisted I had a bad back. He said exercises in a book would cure me. He was very reluctant to give me an MRI, but agreed to begrudgingly. Still he didn't change his diagnosis. Thankfully, years later, my careful PT figured out what was really wrong and I successfully had surgery to repair my torn buttock muscles. Careless and arrogant.
I highly recommend Dr. Blatz. He is a great doctor, spent a lot of time with me, and provided a detailed plan for recovery. His office is responsive, and one of the best experiences I've had at HSS.
