There aren’t enough good things to Say about Dr. Gelfond! We have had several interactions with him, as we have two children under his care. He is kind, thorough, and informative. He always asks for our opinion and we have never felt intimidated by him and he’s always open for suggestion. As well, he is very quick with response using his patient portal! Such a pleasant experience!
Dr Gelfond looked at my son and said he may have about 2 years to live. He guessed weekly on possibly diagnoses for my child. Each week and after each test he told us that he thought our child had a different disease. Thank God. We did not stay with him. We went to CHOP and met with a specialist. I am happy to report my son is healthy and will live a long life. If we listened to Dr. Gelfond we would have been making other arrangements right now. Worked wonders for my daughter. So kind and funny!
Dr. Gelfond is friendly, kind, but more importantly a fantastic doctor. He is great with our children (both see him), is thorough, always answers all of our questions, and gets the kids in when they need to see him.
He has been amazing with working with my daughters feeding struggles including helping to design a plan to wean her off of her feeding tube. He is willing and open to explore options and is thorough in his care. We can’t be any more pleased and heard.
Dr. Gelfond is what every Physician should be. Dr. Gelfond spent over an hour with us at our first visit and wasted no time in doing what needed to be done for our 3 year old son. It turned out that the worst came true for us, and our little boy has Crohn's Disease. Since diagnosis, Dr. Gelfond has been respectful and open to discussing all possible treatment options, he talks to me as often and as much as I need (including weekends), and he truly has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for my family.
