It was a complicated biopsy and he made me feel confident it would happen. His caring compassionate manner showed through during a rough three hours. His expertise in reading the X-rays saved me from having a more advanced stage of my aggressive cancer. I appreciate him and his awesome team. Doctors like him hardly exist anymore . I am so lucky he was in my corner I’ve been a nurse for 28 years and all I can say is find him and use him for your mammogram readings etc. He is awesome
I went to SMIL for a mammogram and then for some follow up imaging. Dr Maki thoroughly reviewed all my imaging and talked to me in person about my findings and the plan going forward. He was fantastic and talked to me in a way that I could understand. Great Physician with a wonderful bedside manner.
Had a breast biopsy from Dr. Maki and you will not find a better doctor for this procedure! I was very apprehensive about it and he and his nurse really calmed me down . Other than his expertise he is also very personable and nice to look at! Lol You will not be disappointed
Dr Maki is my superhero! This doctor’s compassion and knowledge is beyond compare. His gentle man and and patience when he did my breast biopsy were amazing! He took his time to explain everything step by step and made sure I didn’t have any questions.

Simply the most knowledgeable and caring radiologist I have ever met. Dr. Maki’s quick notice of an abnormal area in my breast tissue led to my journey for a biopsy which gratefully was benign. He placed a wire so the surgeon had a guided area for the tissue removal. He was so gentle, I didn’t even realize he completed the wire placement procedure. Dr. Daniel Maki did my biopsy with professional knowledge and with precision, as he quickly reached to the designated area. Dr Maki was kind and reassured me when before and after the biopsy and provided all information I needed. I highly recommend him, as well as his nurses who were caring, knowledable, and very kind and helpful.
