Been my DR for 9 years and liked him. However, his support staff is rude and condescending . Refused to help with an insurance issue and then lied about it.I was already in the process of finding a new DR anyway because of it. Glad he has plenty of patients.
I'm a VA outpatient and Dr Hickman and staff have to do a lot of additional paperwork to see me.I can't THANK them enough.

I love Dr. Hickman and his complete staff. I was one of his first patients in Pace. I have referred Dr.Hickman to many friends and family. Always a pleasure to see the complete staff at least twice a year.
I called to schedule a new patient appointment with this office as they were showing January 6th available online, but the receptionist said it wasn’t available. They aren’t booking new patients until May of 2026. That seems a little bait and switch. It’s very sad that the healthcare system in this area is so bad. You shouldn’t have to wait 6 months to see a doctor. The doctor may be good, but the offices are poorly ran.
