I rang my oncology bell today. I hugged each and everyone who helped me through this part of our ordeal. I looked at them, and saw that they too were crying. Nurse’s are so very special in this fight. They embrace our fight, and fight alongside us. How do you tell them what that means to us? Words fall short, feelings don’t. Dr. Rausch did not treat my husband with care. He ruined the last 5 months we had together, because he could not be bothered to see him and order tests.
Dr. Rausch and his nursing staff are the best you can find in Central Maine. I have had treatment for five months and they are wonderful. Not only are they skilled in the care they provide, they provide care with a smile, are truly interested in your life and interests beyond the cancer diagnosis and work hard to allow you the flexibility to continue to enjoy those things that are most important to you while you go through treatment. They are truly a top notch team.
Verbally inappropriate...my husband had the Y90 radiation done. When we asked if we could sleep in the same bed, he replied..just don't eat his feces! Very sick mind!
