I took my car to Daniels Brothers to address a check engine light issue. They insisted that I would need to leave the car with them all day for them to get a chance to read the error code. They called me in the afternoon and told me that I needed a new coil pack but wouldn't answer questions about it. Furthermore, they demanded I decide if I wanted to replace it (at a cost of over three times that of other area mechanics) within 20 minutes or they wouldn't work on it until the following week. Great service – Daniel Brothers always tells it like it is. They are not out to sell you service you don't need. We need to encourage small businesses like this.

O.K. Service – I took my car to Daniel Brothers for service twice. Both times they got the job done quickly but didn't explain the problems or options that I had. Since my car still had problems, I took it to another mechanic. The second shop (Forest Hills Service Center) explained things thoroughly and immediately figured out what was wrong with my car. I'm not sure if I would recommend Daniel Brothers because the service was fine, but they didn't go out of their way to really figure out what was going on with my car.
