Dr Boyett was brought in as a second surgeon during an emergency trip to the ER in January because of his expertise in gastric bypass. He teamed on a second life saving surgery. He also covered part of my month long hospital stay and my husband and I were very impressed. Upon discharge from the hospital he was brought in to consult with the general surgeon on my case in general for follow up and during ongoing complications. Dr. D. Boyett is an exceptional physician. I can't even begin to articulate how my fundaplication/hernia surgery changed my life. Having Gerd every moment of my life for 25 years was horrible. Now, 2+ years later I can't help but think back how this young master of skill made my life worth living again. I mean that. Don't hesitate. Thank the Almighty this man does what he does.

This is the 8th doctor we've seen to discuss my husband's gallbladder, but the first who actually made sense and allowed us to move forward confidently with a plan. Dr Boyett is just fantastic. He accepted all our questions, was prepared for our appointment, didn't keep us waiting, and explained my husband's unique situation rather than general concepts. He understands that patients have a life they need to work around and is very real with all his answers.
I had a Nissin Fundoplication reversal and hiatal hernia repair on August 27, 2024. My experience with Dr. Boyett and his team was exceptional. My surgery was very complicated and took much longer than the norm. Although Dr. Boyett is very direct, in which I like, you know exactly what you are getting into. He explains every portion of the procedure and what is to be expected. The follow up paperwork leaves no question unanswered. I would recommend Dr. Boyett's team to anyone that asks.
