I have a referral from Dr. Osei, as I need surgery and he was supposed to help with my pain. I’ve even changed my insurance specifically so I can return to see Dr. Osei. However, his assistant is not allowing me to schedule an appointment. Despite having good insurance now, his team is not listening to me and won’t let me make an appointment to see him.
A great experience with a great hand surgeon. Dr Osei is professional, personal and made the entire experience perfect. He is easy to speak with as is his PA. The local anesthesia used for the procedure made it painless. The outcome has been great and I no longer have any pain associated with a carpal tunnel condition. I have scheduled my other hand to be done in a month or so. I recommend Dr Osei and HSS to anyone suffering from this condition.
By all accounts, Dr Osei's surgical skills seem to be excellent. However, his office is a disaster. It is non-responsive, sometimes closes well before stated hours, and emails occasionally bounce. Like Sonya Miller, who provided a similar review 2 months ago, I've been trying for a month to organize a preliminary appointment. Nothing, despite a referral from another HSS physician, numerous emails, and phone calls. Am now looking for an alternate physician.
I have had 4 surgical procedures done by Dr. Osei. Excellent results. Not only is he a brilliant surgeon, but he is kind, compassionate and conducts himself with grace.
