I have brought my sons and brother to Dr. Allison for care and we are all happy with him. He cares, listens, and treats us with the utmost respect and professionalism. He is very personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
Horrible pill pushing and not helping the patient figure out the cause of an ailment. Or assuming and unhelpful.
I received a message regarding a missed appointment. I did not miss the appointment. I had on my calendar that the appointment was at 1:00 and I showed up at that time. I was told I am 1/2 hour late and they will have to reschedule. I said that this was what I had on my calendar. I was shocked that I had it wrong since I specifically wrote it down in the notes. Doesn’t thoroughly assess patients. My mom has had shortness of breath for over a year, with her last appointment with Dr Allison 1 month ago. Today she underwent surgery at St Luke’s. Her Cardiologist’s and surgeons at St Luke’s were shocked that she was being seen by a doctor, because her murmur was so prominent and obvious, they didn’t think my mom was even going to the Dr. As in, how could any competent physician say her cardiac assessment was within normal limits with no murmur just 1 month ago?
