On our way from Ontario to Alberta we had some engine/transmission issues we stayed in Thunderbay. Next morning we had tried a couple of mechanic shops in which we were referred to Daniars Transmission. We drove there early in the morning the owner Johnny was raising the Canadian flag in front of his shop,which i assume he does this every morning walked over and greeted him . Great service, fair pricing, good bunch of people!
Had my 2006 f150 towed to Daniar’s for transmission leak ,they said front seal leak and repaired was pushed right out , paid over $2000.00 and got home 20 minutes later with fluid pouring out and returned to the shop. He said no warranty on seal and transmission cooked to much pressure must have blown again and turned back on my wife and l (pick up a transmission l will give you deal installing!!) of course not l called another garage and ordered a rebuilt which was installed Remembering l gave them okay to order. Good guys, straight shooters, no surprises.
Ordered a used transmission for a job, clearly wasnt prepped for shipping properly, transmission must have done 30 barrel-rolls on the way. Tailgate housing seal was leaking due to the damage. Just about every sensor was crushed, harness was cut. A 1st year apprentice could have prepped it better. Shop did not answer calls after a message was left detailing the situation - must not have a care in the world, they got their money so why deal with the problem, right?
