I met with Michael and have seen him represent in family law. Michael Danforth is a solid dude & knows family law well. Michael actually spoke to my sister first and she found him to be very helpful. Figuring his 2 1 star reviews were credible (they are not), I went with another attorney, which turned out to be not such a good decision. I will likely call on Michael here in the near future to represent me as he has represented others well in both Mchenry & Lake County.
I made a huge mistake hiring Michael Danforth because I didn't read his reviews and I paid $1400 for just one month . I didn't have a good feeling when he called me saying they couldn't find her to serve paperwork and that going to be another month roughly.I switched lawyers right away . Complete waste of my time . Especially if you trying to just see your son . Get your self a lawyer with good feedback and good reviews. Take your time don't just hire the first lawyer
Was.a horrible experience!!! Michael danforth talked a big game and did nothing but take my money and not prioritize my case..I would say one if not worst attorney in lake county!
