I had Dragon Burger on the recommend of the staff and it was fantastic. It came with a side of homemade mushroom soup that also exceeded my expectations. Service was efficient and friendly. The cafe was clean and nicely appointed. Don't miss this place if you are a little hungry and in downtown Nanaimo.

This place is incredible. From how the owner greets everyone to the delicious food, everything just has this warm personal touch. The pulled pork poutine and captain's club sandwich were really good, and cost $8 and $12 respectively. Worth every cent IMO.

Never been disappointed here. From burgers to breakfast sandwiches, everything is freshly made and no corners are cut. Canadian bacon is fantastic. Owner is friendly and seems to have a thing for cooking from scratch. Staff seem eager to please. Portions excellent; prices mid to high for the kind of food served. Love the classical music. No idea how I managed to miss this place for so long.

Excellent selection of grilled cheese sandwiches. Burgers taste amazing and hand pressed, so much on their menu looks excellent. And from what I've read and seen when available and as much and often as possible they use primarily local and organic products.
