Dane's Dairy is a fun local treat. We tried Dane's hoping for a good local ice cream place where we could go for family treats. When we first arrived and realized it was all soft serve, I was a little disappointed. Then we ordered. And we were not disappointed at all. We ordered chocolate twists with peanut butter cups. Ice Cream!! Danes Dairy is a place you really must visit if you love ice cream. There are several flavors to choose from. They even have a location on First Avenue by the Hy Vee. This location is out by the airport if you are one who needs land marks. Danes Dairy has been around for 25 or more years. I really do not know how long.
