What an absolute piece of garbage of a company. "Dane Street, LLC, an independent review company, working on behalf of United Health Insurance..." Ok, hold on. Are you an independent review company? Or do you work on behalf of the insurance company? Because both things can't be true at once.
Company was used as an "independent reviewer" of an insurance claim for the Natara blood test for colon cancer patients. Their doctor, Rahul Singh out of VA, determined it was not medically necessary. Yet, I had stage 4 and had a recurrence last year - but "there's no medical evidence" and the testing was not "medically necessary" Shame on Blue Cross for using this firm
