As a multi-year customer for 2 homes I am baffled as to all of the five star reviews listed. We have run into several problems, some of which we didn't have even prior to contracting pest control with Dancan. I called almost 2 weeks ago & spoke with a young lady who I left a message with for either management/ownership regarding the effectiveness or appropriate quantity of the current treatment because it has been ineffective this entire past year. Don’t be fooled by all the 5 star reviews. They offer a half price discount after first service to write a 5 star review. First, I want to say I was happy with Dancan for FIVE years. Great service, great job. They would text you on day of service and the tech would call or text before arriving. Fast forward to this year. I have a pool and require to lock my gates by Denton city code. In January for first service of the year tech never called. They came out and did front lawn service and didn’t complete the back yard. Customer service is horrible. I asked the sales rep specifically about how they handle mud wasps, snap traps inside the house, and what they would do for fire ants. The rep totally misrepresented everything. He said they would kill, remove and clean all traces of mud wasps, then spray a deterrent. False. They can only knock off a bit and aren’t allowed to actually clean the wall and do not spray deterrent either. Was then quoted $2500 if I wanted them to put snap traps inside the house. I have been a customer for atleast 5 years and I have noticed service has went downhill. Techs rush through the job and I am having pest issues a few weeks after serviced this was something that never used to happen.
Kenneth came out today and sprayed for bugs in the yard and house. Was very respectful and informative on the process and what to expect. Highly recommend Dan can!
