Dr. Houser was able to help stabilize me after I had become very sick. He was running extensive lab work, discovered several issues and was correcting them and as a result, I was feeling better. He was very knowledgeable about illnesses that few doctors have experience with. However, I tried to log on to my Telehealth appointment today to discover there was no link. Dr Houser was my PCP for about 10 years and was the kind of physician you want in your corner. Excellent care, and I have some serious health issues. UNFORTUNATELY about 2-3 weeks ago, I attempted to make an appt as I had a flu virus and some other issues. When I was unable to make appt with MYCHART, I called the office. That is when I was told, "Dr Houser is no longer employed by Mt Carmel Medical ". I had been sent NO letter, Not even a phonecall. There was no message to that effect on my MyChart either. Dr. Houser and I have had several patients in common over the years, and they all have great things to say. I frequently refer patients to him when they ask for recommendations for a PCP. Highly recommend scheduling a consultation with him to see if you’re a good match.
There is none like him. I would like to know where he is at now there's no information about him and I'm very worried bc I don't want to lose him as my doctor He's such an amazing man & of course legendary Dr. He's incredible he truly listens to everything I say. Cared for my pops b4 his passing in sept. This yr. Also, understood the toll of my Irish twin brother who never made it to 35 with me for those 3 wk of the yr.
