I understand that I am extremely fortunate to have a family dr, it is something I never take for granted. Adequate but rude at times. He looked after my Dad and I lived out of town. I messaged him concerns about Dad driving without his glasses when he was older. I just asked if he could explore the possibility of making glasses a condition of licensure. Instead of a quick thanks for the information and my concern for public safety, I got a rude response saying this was inappropriate and I needed to make an appointment. He was already being paid to evaluate Dad's fitness to drive but he wanted to bill the system more to see me in... read more
