I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler from Dana Motors Ltd Ford Lincoln at 266 W Service Rd in Staten Island NY 10314. After getting the Jeep we found the ball joints to be worn out. We had to replace all 4. When we changed the oil we found that Dana Motors Ltd had filled the motor with heavy weight gear oil to mask the lower engine knock. They say we bought the vehicle as is. We are looking at a $5500 bill. Do not buy from these scammers they are just out to cheat honest people. Beware!
We had a situation with Dana that people should be warned of. We put a deposit down on a car under the pretense that we would be approved for a specified deposit and monthly payment. When the time came to finalize the deal, the dynamics of the deal changed and we had to come up with $5000.00 above what we expected to pay. Needless to say we decided not to do the deal, as a result, they refused to refund our $500.00 deposit. Purchase, service a customer service is the worse at this place. Customer Relations Manager, Sales Manager and Salesman never will call you back when you need them. If something is wrong at the delivery of the car I suggest you do 2 things: you either tell them to change the car right there and don't take it home or get in writing if they say they will fix it later. In my case my truck had few issues and took me more than 6 weeks to have them fix it, I called Ford Customer Relations to get them involved and help me get thing... read more
