CALL SOMEONE ELSE! My mother, who's only source of income is social security, called him to try to fix a very old leaking bathtub faucet. After 3 attempts and trying to find parts he told her he would have to tear into the tile wall and update all the tub & shower fixtures to new stuff. At this point she had already paid him about $400 total for the attempts to fix it - which she was okay with because she knew everything was very old and she understood that there were no guarantees he could fix it.
