Thanks Dan!!!! I've always been fascinated with the marine world and have always wanted to learn to scuba. For a relatively low cost (which includes equipment rental, air tanks, etc.), you can get lessons from a professional & accomplished diver. I went for a series of lessons on swimming, safety, and diving explained in through detail, then took the test for my open water license in Tahiti. Excellent Lessons Dan is a certified diver with a great deal of experience. He's knowledgeable and explains everything about diving in his lessons - the equipment, the importance of a buddy system and what to do if your tank runs out at the bottom of the ocean floor, how to safely surface, etc. You will take a simulated dive after you've advanced through the lessons. It's a great place to learn to dive.
