My Chicago family hosted our family reunion at this place. It was a nice place. It definitely needs to be improved on Google maps so we can find the location. If you order any kind of rideshare, they're most likely going to be up the hill at the top of the steps. Not at the parking lot at the bottom. The lower lot doesn't register on the rideshare maps
You can rent it for birthday parties and family reunions. Nice
The forest was very clean, relaxing, & serene. The weather was great for our picnic (no rain or mosquitoes)too. lol.... The only drawback was using Porter potties. Which weren't very clean. The restrooms were closed for remodeling.
Dan Ryan Woods Pavilion is a fantastic, rustic event venue nestled in a beautiful forest preserve. With exposed wooden rafters and stone walls, it offers charm and flexibility for gatherings of up to ~120 guests—perfect for banquets, meetings, receptions, and family picnics.
