We love the Dan River Company. The staff is friendly and helpful. We plan to float again in the fall to see the leaves.
Excellent trip down a section of the Dan River. Equipment was in great condition, our shuttle driver gave good advice for navigating the frequent little rapids over the rocky river bed. We launched at 11 am, took a break for lunch on a small beach, then reached the take out point (where we parked) at 1:30 pm. Highly recommended, challenging enough to keep us attentive but we never felt out of control.
We took the shuttle with our own boats. Great 6 mile run.
Always a great experience with the Dan River Co. Ben is always attentive and accommodating.
