Dan is more than 5 stars in my book. I was a total stranger from out of town. In my GMC Sierra and thought my front tire was about to fall off. After being turned down by Canadian tire in Cochrane, as they have no licensed mechanics, and told I would have to wait three days by Canadian tire in Timmins. I found Dan about 8:30 a.m. When I got there he already had a line up of cars at the door. Dan Papineau Truck & Trailer – Cochrane, ON I can’t say enough good things about Dan and his team. I came into Cochrane with a blown manifold gasket, and he got me in right away. He even drove me to my hotel, picked me up, and his mechanic took me for coffee while the truck was being worked on — that’s the kind of old-school service you don’t see anymore. Had some issues with a Tire coming into town was hesitant when I read some of the reviews then I looked at the names of the negative reviews and decided to take a chance. Excellent service! Got me fixed up right away. Very obvious the negative reviews are from a local “new” business.

Don’t go this guy because I was with my Bison trailer because this trailer Air bag was broken this guy Dan change it and charged 754 CAD and after 40 miles this new airbag broken and I waited 3 hours at Matheson at Highway 11 because he told me to change the airbag there but after 3 hours he told me to come back at my shop with broken air bag after I reached 50 miles back to his shop he start work next day and again charged labour 333 CAD again I have wasted more then 24 hours with this little workout I think MTO should do p... read more
