Awesome gym, all the members were friendly and welcoming. A lot of talent in the room and a great training session
I stumbled across this gym in NYC when i was visiting and dropped in for a sesh. The teaching was world class (Dan), and the crew was friendly, technical and skilled. The facility was very clean. Great vibes all round, and would highly recommend this spot to anyone considering training bjj in NYC.
I called to ask why Google shows his studio opens till 9 PM when his website states that class is only at 12 PM. I was also interested in scheduling a private lesson, but he said he doesn’t offer private lessons at night and didn’t explain why the hours listed online are misleading. This feels like bait-and-switch, and I’d be willing to update my review if the hours are corrected and my time wasn’t wasted with a disrespectful phone call.
I stopped in for a work trip and this place had some awesome grapplers! Dan was very direct and simplistic but effective teaching methods were great. I would stop in again.
