Being told to get my son's post op prescriptions here was a curse. Twice during my son's procedure, after traversing through buildings to get there, I was told that his prescriptions weren't sent (they were). Then after returning and complaining, surgery called & had to have the pharmacy check their system again bc they could see the prescription orders. Baystate Pharmacy in the Daly building is unlike any other pharmacy I have used. They actually care about their patients. I have had so many pharmacists, techs, and cashiers literally go out of their way to help me whether it be to find a med that might be in shortage or to call my doctor. No matter what I need someone at least tries to help. Customer service is lost nowadays so it is nice to have some place that still has quality care. I never ever have a problem at this pharmacy it's better then my local.
My son has undergone three surgeries at different times, and each time we've needed to get his medications from here. Unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. The medications are so poorly flavored that even an adult would struggle to take them, let alone a toddler. The horrible taste makes it nearly impossible to get my child to take his medicine.
