I referred a client to Harold and sat in with the client the first day to help him feel more comfortable transitioning to a new therapist. Harold is easy to talk to and passionate about helping. He has an extensive background working with people with addiction but also works with the general population. Very professional and easy to talk to. It is very hard to find a good therapist but I'm very happy with Dr. Dalton.

His receptionist "Ruth" I think it was...She was very rude, and mean when I tried to call out and reschedule. Mind you, I've never been to the office but that day I had a very bad cold so I called out not knowing about a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. When she answered the phone she said, "So you mean to tell me your going to call out 20 minutes before your session?" My first appointment wasn't with Dr. Dalton, I was pushed off to Kate because he was on vacation. More I thought about it, more I wanted to wait and meet with him (I respond better to male therapists) so I called the day before my appointment to cancel or reschedule. Was told that since I didn't give them 24 hr notice (only18 hrs) that I couldn't have another appointment and was told "Good Luck" with sarcasm as the receptionist hung up on me.
