Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. From repetitive limousine problems to racial slurs and stolen alcohol, our experience with this venue and the staff was abysmal. I am extremely disappointed and angry for how my friends and family were treated. The limousine ride was promised but broke down twice in the blistering Texas heat. This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with a venue. The conduct we experienced from members of the staff was not simply rude or unprofessional—it was absolutely disgraceful. Members of my family were subjected to racial slurs by venue staff. There is no circumstance in which that behavior should ever be tolerated, especially from employees of a business being paid to host you and your family. Unfortunately, our experience with Dallas Event Center was extremely disappointing. Several services and experiences that were included in the event package were either significantly shortened or not provided as expected. The limo service in particular was a major issue, as two separate limousines broke down, resulting in a substantial reduction in the amount of time the family received for the transportation service they had paid for. Wouldn’t recommend. Julio seems nice but is only nice if you let him walk all over you. There was a lot of horrible moments through out the night, some specific examples: we payed for limo service for the birthday girl for 2hrs to drive around with her friends but 2 separate limos broke down and instead were given a small bus with about an hr loss of time, and when it was requested for some form of compensation he was argumentative and refused any refund or compensation for their actions. We enjoyed the coordinator of this event, but staff in the beginning are super kind and try to help , but once you pay deposit things change, you might see all the 5 stars reviews or almost perfect, but it is all a disguise. We also had issues as other reviews with contract statements some things being covered and some not.As well as staff drinking our alcohol and being rude when we wanted to take back the alcohol after the event ended which again we payed for the alcohol the event does not pay for that all only thing includ... read more
