The place has so much promise and potential. It is a cool venue in a cool place. Drinks are good. People are nice and friendly. The problem is it takes forever to get a drink. If there is an event there then don’t bother. It took us about 20 min to get a drink last night. We would have had a couple but didn’t want to wait another 20 min.
Just had an amazing experience at The North Garland class of '95 reunion at Herman Marshall’s! Huge shoutout to Angela Ramírez for her incredible help in organizing and helping us set everything up. They even let us come early and stay late, which made the day even more special with our classmates. This venue is perfect for gatherings with friends and family. Um hello? If you’re reading this why aren’t you driving to stop here already? Maryann is just an absolute joy!! The staff makes you feel like family . Truly the best establishment around . The owner is down to heart and fun. So much more to come with this location. You better check them out or know your missing out
This was my second time coming to Herman Marshall. The first visit was fantastic, drinks were great, service was great. The second time, however, was a different story. We chose a table and had a waitress come over and address us within a few seconds of sitting down. She said she would bring some menus after cleaning off the table next to us. I really wanted to like this place. Believe me, I did. But every time I’ve been here, they have some guy playing guitar and the music is so damn loud you can’t hear anything else around you. The whiskey is also not great. There’s no consistency to the cocktails. Every time I ordered one it was different from the last.
