Dr Ashani is competent and caring. I would definitely recommend her as a physician. Administratively, dealing with the HSS system is an exercise in frustration. Rules and procedures are rigid and at times do not fit needs and problems. An example is with prescription refills. My mail order pharmacy called her office, as directed, three times requesting an updated prescription but none was forthcoming. When I called myself the agent was difficult to understand and abrupt.
