Dr Schaefer has done 5 surgeries on my spine. Love the man.
He fused my neck in 2012,& today I’ll see him about fusing L4/5.. if I go back for a second time, that should tell you right there, this man does exactly what he says he can do. C5/6 almost 8 yrs ago now & no regrets.
NOT impressed. Filled out reams of medical history, sent MRI, etc. Dr. entered room said "what's going on?" My sister-in-law explained her symptoms related to cervical vertebrae issue. Dr. said "I can't help you" and walked out of the room. Waste of time and money!!
Dr. Schaefer operated on my broken neck. Very pleased as I have no side effects or pain. Would recommend him for any neurosurgery.
Dr. Schaefer is an excellent doctor. I felt completely safe going into surgery thanks to him, and he was able to remove my difficult tumor. Even though my situation was scary, he made me feel confident that he was capable of giving me the best care out there.
Dr. Schaefer treated me like a friend and showed genuine concern over my back problem. He went over all the options available and took the time to explain everything about my procedure. I would recommend him to everyone. I had great results and his follow up was everything I thought it should be.
I had Cranial Surgery to remove a large blood clot on the right side of my brain. I've never had any kind of surgery done before so I had nothing to compare this to however, I was more than impressed with Dr. Schaefer's work.
I have high anxiety, a huge fear of needles and DO NOT like to go to the doctor. When I learned I had to have surgery, I had one of my biggest anxiety attacks ever. 2 weeks later I finally went in and met Dr. Schaefer. I was scared, he was quiet but straight forward. When he saw my apprehension toward needles, he laughed at me but I could see his compassion. On the morning of my surgery I was nervous but when he came in I felt completely at ease. Great Dr. and a wonderful staff!!
