I dealt with this State Farm office/agency following the passing of my father almost two years ago. He had his home insured here, and I attempted to transfer the policy to my name as the new owner. The agent repeatedly assured me the transfer was complete and coverage was active. At the same time, I received letters from State Farm stating there was no policy in effect.
