Great shop, lots to choose from. Some pieces locally sourced, some mined by shop owner and some from all over the world. Everything is clearly marked as to where it is from and also very reasonably priced. Great place for gifts and beautiful reminders of the area. Wonderful staff, very helpful and wrapped everything up very nicely. If you get a chance to run into Norm he will take you to the mineshaft, show you some history and offer up a treasure hunt that truly does result in a pretty sweet takeaway. Really fun for kids. The employees of this store went above and beyond to help me find the perfect rocks! As a teacher, I needed six different rocks for ten containers to make Mohs hardness kits for my students. They did not have the correct sized rocks so they broke the rocks for me and made sure they would fit in the containers. I am so thankful for the help that this store provided. Because of their support, I can provide my students with more than two Mohs hardness kits.
