Installed roof as planned, my parents paid on delivery then three months later they were served a notice that the shingle supply company (Builders First Source) had placed a lien against their home for non payment of the shingles they delivered. They immediately paid the company to ensure they wouldn’t loose anything on their house. Now trying to seek recompense via small claims court and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office can’t find the owner Taylor Oster to serve him the notice to appear. We paid Dakota Roofing in full to have our roof replaced. Because they are not paying the company they are purchasing the materials from, we now have a lien against our house. DO NOT use this company.
