Their billing is HORRENDOUS! I don't have it in me to get into all the details but here are just a few things - 1) Statement date is 2nd day of the month, but I don't receive it until the 20th day of the month and then the bill is due on the 2nd of the following month. WHAT?! 2) No, I will not sign up for online bill pay because we all have ways we manage our bills and I like receiving my bill in the mail and then paying it online; in order to do it this way, you have to pay a $4 fee (on an $86 bill is outrageous) if I want ... read more
Extremely RUDE customer service staff. They talk over you and when you are trying to explain the problem they tell you to calm down. They are the worst company ever.
Power outage in Burnsville, MN
My cost per kilowatt doubled in the last 2 months. I am also being charged $175.00 extra because the billing was incorrect in the past. Sounds like poor management to me. Also when I called the woman on the phone she was super rude. If I had a choice in service I would not use Dakota Electric .
