I saw Liv Warfield and her band perform her Honey and Whiskey tribute to Etta James and Janis Joplin there last night. She is unbelievable as a singer and performer. Liv is the greatest female vocalist I’ve seen live and I’ve seen many. I bought the tix after seeing her perform Prince at the Prince block party in Minneapolis in June. I grew up on the music of Janis Joplin but never saw her live. Liv brought her to life for me while still having her own style and interpretation. Her band are amazing musicians too!
