Great Family atmosphere I love the way they will make your ice cream treats or meals exactly how you want it, even if it is not on the menu. My father was up from Florida last summer and the owner came out and talked about Florida with him, making him feel really at home. I also appreciate the way they are open and honest with their hours and why they have them like they are, so they can spend enough family time together, since its a family owned business.
This place is famous for chicken & ice cream! During the summer, Dairyland is pretty much a have to eat place at least once month. (If not more!) Their chicken is better than any place in town, and the other food is pretty good too. The prices are a bit steep, but I keep paying them. I love the cyclones. (Like Dairy Queen's Blizzard) They don't really do the drive in thing anymore, but it's got that same atmosphere! Fun & friendly!
