went with my friend to Dairy Queen tonight, I understand in certain places clearing the kitchen at a restaurant for example, but closing over 10 minutes early at an ice cream shop when we weren’t the only even in the parking lot is just so rude, knowing that at other locations workers have stayed until the line was down even when dq was closed. The girls were so rude to my friend and I and we won’t be coming back, think about who you’re hiring
Showed up 10 minutes before close. After getting in line and standing at the order window waiting to order, the two girls working were looking at us through the pick up window. After waiting about a minute, one of the girls walked up to the “order window” (where I was waiting) and flipped the open sign to close. Update summer 2025-Sad to say this Clinton Dairy Queen doesn’t carry chocolate sprinkles anymore — a true heartbreak for sprinkle lovers. To make matters worse, it’s located right next to the wastewater treatment plant. So if you’ve ever wanted to enjoy a Blizzard with a side of sewage scent in the air, this is the place. Not exactly the sweet treat experience I was hoping for I tip well for my Medium Vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles:)
