We stopped in on our way to San Antonio. We got there at 628pm, and 704 I went to ask how much longer, and they let us know then that they had forgotten our order and it was gonna be up soon. There was only 2 other people in there. My chicken strips were soggy. My son loved his chili cheese fries, and my husband enjoyed the tacos. We ended up being there for over an hour.
Place is a dump. Fruity pebble shake sign on window, of course they're out of the fruity pebble mix. Tables filthy, dead flies, floors sticky. Two guys working don't want to be there, 100% rude. Talking out loud about customers arriving; "Why is it every time someone leaves someone else pulls up? This is getting ridiculous" He didn't want to work he wanted to sit at his booth and be on his phone. This restaurant is filthy so I was quick to order my food to go. The service was ok, two of them came in from smoking out front as I walked in, so there’s that. The burger was actually not bad but my order of fries was only half full (see photo). I won’t be visiting here again.
The Dairy Queen in Mason always has great ice cream and wonderful customer service! The staff is friendly, quick, and welcoming every time we stop by. A great place for a sweet treat and small-town hospitality.
