Dairy Queen is great for an ice-cold treat, but they also serve surprisingly great food. I used to think their prices were on the higher side, but with the way prices have gone up everywhere, I’d now call them reasonable; still a bit high, but fair compared to other places. They can get pretty busy, and tables sometimes get a bit messy, but staff make a consistent effort to keep the dining area clean and free of ice cream spills. I have had salads from many places in the city but the one I just ate makes my top 3.. Chicken Strip Salad bowl with caeser dressing.. top notch the added bacon and cheese hidden in the salad was a nice touch.. I will be ordering again, my milk allergy prevents me from ordering the blizzards like my family but I have other items I can order.
