I can’t speak for other Dairy Queen locations, but the one in Kinnelon/Butler has been disappointing. Every time I’ve gone inside, there’s been an unpleasant smell, almost like a restroom. The place often looks unclean, and I’ve noticed employees handling food without gloves. I only keep going because my daughters love it. They’re still young and don’t notice these things yet, but as they get older, I think they will. I really hope this location improves its cleanliness because it has the potential to be much better.
If I could give negative stars for customer service I would. We were second in line, the only people in line at the register. We thought only 1 person was working-and screwing around with his friends as they ordered all sorts of things and goofed off. We were enjoying the music and it was 9pm or so on the 4th of July…..so whatever….we could wait. Then Another group came in and started reading the menu and looking at the case of ice cream. A second employee came from “the back” and started helping the new group. We left.
Owner is awesome, staff great, food always fresh and delicious 😋! Definitely recommend.
I love this place!!! We live 30 mins away but anytime we are on rt23. We always stop. Every summer my daughter and nieces demand to go there when we pick them up from sleepaway camp! Staff is always Great and the owner is the sweetest! Definitely recommend. Always ice cream and its one of the few if not only Dairy Queen that has food. Chicken tenders are my favorite and my hubby loves the fresh burgers!! Cheese curds 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
