Woke up from my afternoon nap wanting ice cream, I came to the Cromwell Dairy Queen drive through and was met with a respectful young man, I ordered the new drumstick blizzard with chocolate soft serve. ( I didn’t know diary queens had chocolate so it’s a plus!). The blizzard came out quick and was amazing. The employee at the window was super kind as well. Good Job Cromwell, cool stuff!!
Only ordered a blizzard online and came through the drive thru a couple minutes later to get it. The girl at the speaker said she did not get the order because it takes 10 minutes for it to process and if we want it earlier we can come inside or we can wait. We chose to come inside since it’s silly to wait especially since there was no line and we only got the one ice cream. Atmosphere and service are fine. The food is dairy queen so don't expect much. One thing you should be aware of if you have any plans to order their flagship item Blizzards™ is that they consistently do a bad job blending the mixing in. Consistently over the past year or so, at least five of the six or seven Blizzards I've gotten have been 1-2inches at the top of standard blizzard, then a plain, weirdly flavorless vanilla at the bottom.
