As a student-athlete, I was shocked and disappointed by how poorly I was treated by Dairy Queen. I worked hard, showed up on time, and did my best to balance school, sports, and work. Instead of understanding that student workers have real responsibilities outside of the job, management chose to fire me with little explanation and zero compassion.
