I order online every time and still manage to wait 20 minutes
We stop here regularly because my 4 year old loves their ice cream. But the drive through line is insanely slow. I have never ordered food - usually just one or two ice cream cones. I usually wait 20+ minutes, if there is a car in front of me. I’d love if they could start asking cars with food to wait in a parking spot so those who only ordered ice cream can get through the line quicker!
I came in to order a red and blue slushie with vanilla soft-serve ice cream, which is something I order regularly. The employee at the front made it seem like it was a big deal, went to get her manager, and we ended up waiting while they figured out if they could make it. I was then told they couldn’t do a red and blue slushie because of something “new” coming out next week. I’m honestly confused about what that has to do with my order. I hate to say it but this location is terrible. They seem to always be looking for a way to let you down. The only thing consistent here is it’s consistently bad, every time. I keep thinking it’s an off day but today was my last day. I matter what size ice cream you get it’s always a small just a bugger cone. Their chicken is always smaller, fries always have less, this place is a literal joke.
I want to give a special shout-out to Elle Uresk at the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Salem, Utah. She is one of the most helpful, kind, and hardworking employees I have ever met. Today was the first time I met her and she went above and beyond to make us customers feel welcome and valued.
